Ogier ha dichiarato: “E’ stato un rally perfetto. Abbiamo spinto sull’accelleratore per tutto il weekend ed è stata una grande battaglia con Sebastien Loeb. Sono davvero felice di aver vinto il mio primo rally del WRC. E’ stata una gara perfetta.”
Dani Sordo in terza posizione da alla Citroen il podio lasciando dietro le Ford che riescono a portare a casa solamente un quarto posto grazie a Mikko Hirvonen che prende il posto di Petter Solberg, che a causa di un testacoda con la sua Citroen C4 WRC durante la SuperSpecial deve accontentarsi del quinto posto.
Il campione di F1, Kimi Raikkonen, riesce a mantenere la decima posizione e porta a casa punti per la classifica WRC e altra preziosa esperienza per il prosieguo della sua carriera nei rally.
