[IRC] Va a Kopecky la prima prova del Barum Rally

Rally di casa per Jan Kopecky, che mette a segno il primo colpo e porta a casa la superspecial notturna. Juho Hanninen e Freddy Loix devono accontentarsi della seconda e della terza posizione, rispettivamente a 2.2 e 3.0 secondi di distanza. Podio comunque tutto Skoda sulla superspeciale di nove chilometri. A seguire a 0.2 secondi da Loix, Kris Meeke e Bryan Bouffier il pilota che ha vinto il precedente round del campionato IRC.

Buon tempo anche per Guy Wilks che ritorna dopo un lungo infortunio. Una scelta sbagliata dei pneumatici confina i piloti Proton oltre la ventesima posizione. Corrado Fontana, navigato da Arena, finisce la superspecial in tredicesima posizione mentre sempre nella classifica IRC, Cavigioli-Granai su Fiat Grande Punto JTD conquistano la 47^ posizione.

La classifica ERC vede invece Corrado Fontana in terza posizione e Matteo Gamba, navigato da Inglesi, in sesta posizione seguito da Cavigioli al decimo posto.
