Il WRC è una disciplina incredibile, ma incredibile è anche la passione dei tifosi che per molte ore decidono di aspettare il passaggio dei propri beniamini lottando contro qualsiasi tipo di condizione climatica: dal gelo artico della Svezia al caldo torrido della Sardegna.
Sono tantissimi coloro che decidono di immortalare un ricordo di questi momenti, in molti utilizzando una macchina fotografica.
La tecnologia, si sa, ha fatto passi da gigante e con lei il mondo della fotografia è cambiato. Oggi è possibile ottenere ottimi scatti solamente utilizzando uno smartphone. Basta premere un pulsante, click, e il gioco è fatto. Semplice vero? Beh, non è proprio così.
I Just Push The Button è un film che nelle intenzioni del suo ideatore, Bartosz Rusiecki, vuole raccontare a tutti coloro che si cimentano in questa arte cosa vuol dire essere davvero un fotografo professionista.
Un lungo viaggio, della durata di 13 mesi, dove l’autore ha seguito Marcin Rybak, famosissimo fotografo polacco e protagonista del film, ambientato nel corso di 5 eventi del mondiale WRC 2018. Un film che mostra al pubblico “the dark side of the moon”, il lavoro e il sacrificio necessari ad ottenere degli scatti come questi.
Non solo la storia di come nasce una fotografia, ma anche scene di vita quotidiana e tutto ciò che accade nel dietro le quinte di chi ha trasformato la propria passione nel lavoro di tutti i giorni. Sebastien Loeb, Ott Tanak, Sebastien Ogier, Petter Solberg, Colin Clark, Becs Williams sono solo alcuni dei personaggi che appaiono nel film, ma non solo loro. As we know, technology had a great evolution over the years and also the world of photography has changed. Now it’s possible to obtain excellent shots simply using a smartphone. Just press a button, click, and you’re done. So simple right? Well, it’s not really like that.
I Just Put The Button is a film that wants to tell to everyone is engaged in this art what means being a professional photographer. This is the Bartosz Rusiecki’s idea, the creator of this documentary.
A long journey, lasting 13 months, where the author followed Marcin Rybak, one of the most famous Polish photographer and film’s main character, set during 5 events of the 2018 World Rally Championship. The film shows “the dark side of the moon”, all the work and sacrifice needed to get shots like these.
It’s not all about the story of how a photograph is born, but also everyday life’s scenes and everything that happens in the backstage of those people who have transformed their passion into their work.
