Per questa terza uscita della serie “Fotografi da Rally” abbiamo intervistato per voi un giovane fotografo Andrè Lavadinho ; nato in Portogallo nel 1987 , attualmente già fotografo permanente FIA nel Wrc e nell’Erc.
Ecco a voi come si è raccontato….

When you start to shoot?? Why??
Quando hai iniziato a scattare??Perchè??
“In 1996 during the Rally Portugal.”
“Nel 1996 durante il Rally del Portogallo. “
Who has teach you how to do good images??
Chi ti ha insegnato come realizzare buone immagini??
“My father. Was always the best teacher in the world, for me.”
“Mio padre, è sempre stato il mio miglior maestro al mondo per me.”
When you have realized that could become your future job??
Quando hai realizzato che sarebbe diventato il tuo lavoro futuro??
“Since I was born… ahahaha. With only 4 years old, I was now in the rally life. My first picture published was in 1996 with only 8 years old in the most important newspaper in Portugal.”
“Da quando sono nato…ahahaha.A soli 4 anni sino ad ora sono sempre stato nel mondo dei rally.La mia prima foto pubblicata fù nel 1996 a soli 8 anni nel giornale più importante del Portogallo.”

Parlaci della tua carriera
“As I told before, 1996 my first picture published. After it I was always follow my parents ( professional photographers since 1978) during all national events.
In 2008, I make the risk and I was on WRC Deutschland and I saw that my goal for my future was to be one of the best. After this event I follow all WRC and ERC events to catch my goal and here I am in this moment as FIA permanent photographer of WRC and ERC.”
“Come ho detto prima, nel 1996 venne pubblicata la mia prima foto. Dopo di che ho sempre seguito i miei genitori (fotografi professionisti dal 1978) durante tutti gli eventi nazionali.
Nel 2008 ho provato ad andare al Wrc di Germania e questo fù un gran risultato per il mio futuro visto che le mie foto risultarono essere le migliori.Dopo questo evento ho seguito tutti gli eventi Wrc ed Erc per perseguire il mio obbiettivo ed ora sono qui come fotografo permanete FIA per i campionati Wrc ed Erc.”
What’s your target when you are shooting?? What do you want transmit in you photos??
Qual’è il tuo obiettivo quando scatti??Cosa vuoi trasmettere nelle tue foto??
“Showing not only the action of the car but all the environment and history that it happens in each moment.”
“Cerco di trasmettere non solo l’azione delle macchine ma anche tutto l’ambiente circostante e la storia che succede in ogni momento.”
You are too young is this an advantage in your business??
Sei molto giovane è questo un vantaggio nel tuo lavoro??
“Is an advantage and disadvantage. Advantage, because I can run like hell and I can go to my 200% of my capacities…ahahaha. And I have a “fresh” and new mind . The disadvantage is that sometimes teams, agencies, magazines when ask me my age have afraid about it but after choose me and make the deal, they can see that I can do a great job with only 26 years old. This is a question for some of my clients… are you agree? ”
“E’ un vantaggio ma anche uno svantaggio. Un vantaggio perchè posso correre come un diavolo e riesco ad arrivare al 200% delle mie capacità …ahahaha.Ho anche una mente “fresca”.Lo svantaggio è che qualche team,agenzia,giornale quando mi chiedono l’età spesso hanno timore dovuto a ciò ma dopo avermi selezionato possono vedere che posso fare un ottimo lavoro anche solo con 26 anni d’età.Questa è la domanda per qualche mio cliente…non sei d’accordo??”

“Static and always artistic angles.”
“Statiche e sempre con inquadrature artistiche.”
Who is your best rally photographer ever??
Chi è il miglior fotografo di rally di sempre per te??
“All permanent FIA photographers have your own talent. One in action, one in landscapes, one in art, etc.”
” Tutti i fotografi permanenti FIA hanno un proprio talento.Chi nell’azione, chi nei paesaggi chi nel lato artistico ecc…”
What’s your equipment??
Qual’è il tuo equipaggiamento??
“All Canon professional cameras.”
“Tutto equipaggiamento Canon professional.”
What do you think about post production in the rally photos??
Cosa pensi della post produzione nelle foto di rally??
“In the present, is very important do a little bit of post production. But I think a lot of photographers are using more than I like. Is now very usefull using filters from programs and not inside of each lense and yes, I use this filters. Only it!”
“Attualmente è veramente importante fare un po’ di post produzione. Ma penso che molti fotografi esagerino di più di quello che a me piace.Molto utile è usare i filtri da programma anzichè montarli su ogni lente e si, anche io uso questi filtri.Solo questi ! “
What is you favourite rally in the world and why??
Qual’è il tuo rally preferito al mondo e perchè??
“Every rally has your favorite part. The famous Col du Turini in Monte Carlo, the beautifull scenery and cold weather in Sweden, the long trip to Mexico, Argentina and Australia to see a totally different cultures and stages, typical white villages in WRC Portugal, the vineyards of Deutschland and France, the famous jumps and environment in Finland, the beautiful Sardinia, the famous corner in Spain with thousands of spectators vibrating with the rally, the mud of Wales among many others that we will only be able to describe to our children and grandchildren.”
“Tutti i rally possiedono una caratteristica che mi piace.Il famoso Col de Turini in Monte Carlo, uno stupendo scenario con il tempo nuvoloso in Svezia, il lungo viaggio per arrivare in Messico, Argentina ed Australia dove puoi vedere una cultura totalmente diversa e prove speciali caratteristiche,i tipici villagi bianchi al Wrc del Portogallo, i vigneti di Germania e Francia, i famosi salti finlandesi, la stupenda Sardegna, le famose curve della Spagna con migliaia di tifosi che palpitano per il rally , il fando del Galles e molti altri ancora che sarò in grado di raccontare ai nostri bambini e nipoti.”

What do you think about Wrc and Erc they are better today or not??

“I think both were always good.”

What do you think about italian rallies and italian fans??
Cosa pensi dei rally italiani e dei suoi tifosi??
“WRC Italy Sardegna and IRC/ERC Sanremo for me are in the top too! Very well organized, with nice places, very nice stages, amazing landscapes and if you want visit it to do some holidays, YES, I recommend. About Italian fas, I only can tell one thing: huge crowd and all of them with a big passion!”
“Il mondiale in Sardegna e l’Erc di Sanremo sono per me il top!Molto ben organizzati, con posti carini e prove speciali belle, straordinari scenari e se vuoi visitarli per un po’ di vacanza, Si ,li raccomando.Sui tifosi italiani posso dire solo una cosa: tanta folla con una grandissima passione!”
